An elderly, lonely woman in a small town in Eastern Mongolia adopts what she thinks is an abandoned kitten. The two become firm friends, and the woman doesn’t seem to notice the cat’s outsized appetite, or the fact that it slowly outgrows any other housecat she’d ever seen. She also ignores the fact that all the dogs in the village are scared of her cat. But two years later, when a terrible incident threatens to shatter the peace in the village, the cat shows its true colors and the woman learns a horrifying truth!
